Due to its resistance to decay, Cypress is used where contact with moisture is unavoidable. The look of the veneer is like yellow pine but with a very tight grain.
Cypress can be found in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, East Africa and North America. It is commonly known as Bald Quarter Sawn or Quarter Cut East African Cypress.
