Customer Satisfaction Guarantee 

At Oakwood Veneer, our philosophy is simple: “Make sure the customer is happy.” 

We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee on every purchase. No restocking fees—ever!  

 

Product Information 

Veneer is often plain sliced (flat cut) as well as book matched, unless otherwise noted.  

Wood is a natural material, so color and grain may vary from sheet to sheet. 

If you need to match an existing veneer, please send us a sample or email a photograph, and we will do our best to find a match. 

If your project requires sequencing, please speak with someone from our sales team.  

 

Inspect Your Order Immediately 

Your veneer should arrive free of defects and damage and be ready to install. 

Inspect all veneer upon delivery and contact us immediately with any concerns. 

If your veneer arrives damaged during transit, notify us right away, and we will send a replacement. 

 

Returns & Refunds 

We accept returns under the following conditions: 

Return Eligibility

Returns must be requested within 365 days of the invoice date. 

The veneer must: 

Be in sellable condition 

Not be cut, glued, or taped 

Have no missing pieces 

Only be marked with chalk if necessary 

Be verified as originally purchased from Oakwood Veneer 

Installed, altered, or damaged products cannot be returned. 

Refund Policy 

Same as cash refund within 60 days of the ship date. 

Store credit for returns made between 61–365 days of the ship date. 

 

Return Process 

Fill out our return form HERE

Then include a copy of the invoice or clearly mark the box with the invoice number. 

Ship returns to: Oakwood Veneer, 1830 Stephenson Highway, Troy, MI 48083 via a trackable shipping method (prepaid). 

Shipping costs are non-refundable. 

 

Exceptions 

Special orders cannot be returned. 

 

Damaged or Missing Items 

If your order is damaged in transit: 

If the box is visibly damaged, refuse the delivery and have the carrier return it to us. 

If the veneer inside is damaged but the box is intact, keep the veneer in the original box and notify us immediately for a replacement. 

If an item is missing from your order: 

Report missing items within 3 days of receiving your order. 

We will send a replacement immediately. 

 

Order Cancellations & Refused Orders 

Before shipment: No charges will be made, and no restocking fees.  

After shipment leaves our warehouse: You will be charged for both original shipping and return shipping if the order is refused or returned. 

 

Online Order Information 

Security: All personal data is encrypted for security.  

Privacy: We never share your personal information beyond what is needed to process your order. 

 

Shipping Charges 

Estimated domestic U.S. shipping rates are shown in the shopping cart but may be adjusted for large orders.

Warranty 

Oakwood Veneer guarantees that all merchandise is free from defects in material and workmanship. However: 

The customer assumes full responsibility for the use and results of purchased materials. 

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the veneer or edgebanding. 

Labor and additional material costs are not covered. 

No other warranties, express or implied, apply beyond this statement. 

 

Pre-Staining & Pre-Finishing Notice 

If veneer is not adhered to a substrate, pre-staining or pre-finishing may cause adhesion issues due to environmental conditions, finishes, and application techniques. 

No warranty is provided for pre-finishing veneer that is not properly installed using standard industry methods (vacuum or platen press).
