Quarter Sawn White Oak veneer was used to craft this Sideboard Cabinet. It was built for a narrow space, which influenced the dimensions. The veneer panels on the back, side and cabinets are Quarter Sawn Tiger White Oak. The legs and front apron are arched. The top has breadboard ends for aesthetics and stability.
The finish is amber colored Tung oil varnish. Multiple layers of finish were applied. The cabinet took about six weekends to build and one week to finish. Craftsman/Hobbyist, Todd Plentovich, created this cabinet to look similar to Stickley sideboards.
