Chen Chen (Antiaris toxicaria), also frequently referred to as Antiaris, is a versatile African hardwood prized for its light weight and consistent, pale color. The defining characteristic of Chen Chen veneer is its interlocked grain, which often produces a subtle but attractive "ribbon" figure when quarter-cut.
