Canary Wood Veneer

Canary wood (Centrolobium spp.) grows in South America, from Panama to southern Brazil.  Canary wood has a variegated heartwood that ranges in color from pale yellow orange to a darker reddish brown with darker streaks throughout. Canary wood is very showy.  Some Canary wood is almost rainbow colored with all of the colors showing in the cathedrals.

Canary wood is used for musical instruments, furniture, cabinets, boat interiors, and paneling.

Other names for Canary wood include Tarara Amarilla and Canarywood.

Canary wood veneer comes in 4’x8’ sheets with 10 mil backing.
