- The "Tape" Warning: Never use standard masking tape to hold your veneer in place inside a vacuum bag. The pressure is so high it can "emboss" the texture of the tape into the wood. Use specialized blue veneer tape that is designed to be paper-thin.
- The Glue Squeeze-out: If glue squeezes out and hits your breather mesh, it will bond the mesh to your project forever. Always use a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper as a "buffer" between your veneer and the mesh.
