Application & Finishing Tips

Spanish Cedar is the preferred choice for lining walk-in humidors or custom cigar boxes. For these applications, we recommend leaving the veneer raw and unfinished to allow the wood’s natural oils and scent to interact with the environment. For furniture or musical instruments, a simple clear lacquer or oil finish will highlight the wood’s natural "glow" and mahogany-like grain. Our Peel & Stick (PSA) backing is particularly useful for quickly refacing existing humidor interiors or creating aromatic drawers in custom closets.
